How to reach Elba

The departure point for Elba Island is Piombino Marittima, where three ferry companies — Toremar, Moby Lines and Blu Navy — run frequent, comfortable crossings to Portoferraio, the main route, taking around 60 minutes. Toremar also offers a stop at Rio Marina, as well as a hydrofoil service connecting Cavo, Portoferraio and Rio Marina.
